     Robert moved to KentuckyG before 1850. He appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Christian Co., KentuckyG, enumerated 9 Aug 1850, in the household of Dr. C. B. Hall and his family, apparently a border there with two others. He was listed as owning one male slave, age 25.11,12
     He was a wagon maker in 1850.11
     Robert married Lucy Ann Ragdale, daughter of William J. Ragdale and Emily J. Tillotson, on 12 Dec 1860 in Trigg Co., KentuckyG, at her mother's home, with S. B. White officiating.8,9
