     Mary married Nathan Henry Kuhlman, son of Ernst Heinrich Kuhlmann and Anne Marie Elisabeth Fenncker, on 22 Nov 1868 in Huntington Co., Indiana, with Rev. J. G Rose officiating.6,7,8
     Mary and Nathan appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Huntington, Huntington Co., Indiana, enumerated 29 Jun 1870, reporting real estate valued at $1,500 and personal estate of $150. Their son Jacob was listed as living with them, as were his sister Elizabeth and Emma and Elizabeth Kuhlman and Emma Hartwig, daughter of his late sister Sophie.13
     Mary and Nathan appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Huntington, Huntington Co., Indiana, enumerated 18 Jun 1880. Their children Jacob, Jesse, Edward and Daisy were listed as living with them.14
