     Charles M. Street was born on 13 Aug 1856 in Missouri.8,9,10
     He appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Morris Twp., Carroll Co., Missouri, in the household of his parents, John M. Street and Mariah Brady.14 He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Morris Twp., Carroll Co., Missouri, in the household of his parents.15
     Charles married Iola James, daughter of William H. James and Reliance Booth, on 5 Aug 1877 in Carroll Co., Missouri, with Rev. W. C. Baird officating.11,12,13
     Charles and Iola James appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Morris Twp., Carroll Co., Missouri, enumerated 9 Jun 1880. Their daughter Merta was listed as living with them.16
     Charles and three of his brothers made purchases at the sale of personal property from their father's estate on 15 Aug 1887. They purchased mainly hand tools and farm implements but also some of the produce and livestock.17 Charles and two of his brother purchased from their father's estate parts of the hay crop harvested in the summer of 1887.18 In the final distribution of his father's estate in Aug 1889, Charles and each of his living siblings received $602.17 9/11.19
     Charles was named an executor in the will of his sister Mary dated 28 Apr 1890 in Reynolds, Jefferson Co., Nebraska, to administer her estate until her youngest son reached age 16, in 1902.20 Mary died 26 Jun 1890.21,22 Charles posted a bond of $1,000 as curator of the estate of Mary's sons Samuel and William 14 Feb 1891, in Carroll Co., Missouri.23
     Charles and Iola appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Leslie Twp., Carroll Co., Missouri, enumerated 7 Jun 1900. Their children Mary and Bessie were listed as living with them, as was his mother. His brother William and his family were apparently living nearby as they appear as the second preceding household in the census record.7
     Charles and Iola appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Leslie Twp., Carroll Co., Missouri, enumerated 25 Apr 1910, reporting they owned their farm, free of mortgage.24
     He was a farmer, retiring by 1920 and moving in to town.16,7,25,26,27
     Charles and Iola appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Bogard, Carroll Co., Missouri, on Campbell St., enumerated 2 Jan 1920, reporting they owned their home, free of mortgage.28
     Charles and Iola appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Bogard, Carroll Co., Missouri, on Compbell St., enumerated 25 Apr 1930, reporting they owned a home valued at $4,000, and did not own a radio.29
     Charles died on 16 Nov 1930 in Bogard, Carroll Co., Missouri, at age 74.3 He was buried on 18 Nov 1930 in the Streets Family Cemetery, Bogard, Carroll Co., Missouri.3
