     Mary M. Schuck was born on 28 Nov 1867 in Illinois.9,10,11,12 She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents, John Schuck and Catherine Geltmacher.19

     Mary married Levi Glabe, son of Johann Jakob Glebe and Anna Katharina Stein, on 8 Mar 1888 in Tazewell Co., Illinois.13,14,15
     Mary and Levi settled in Farmdale after their marriage, where they lived until 1894 when they moved to Washington, a few miles north.7 They appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, enumerated 2 Jun 1900, reporting that they owned their farm, which was mortgaged. Their children Charles, John, Katherine, Ida and Inez were listed as living with them.20
     Mary and Levi appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, enumerated 28 Apr 1910, reporting that they owned their farm, which was mortgaged. Their children Charles, John, Katherine, Irene, Inez and Esther were listed as living with them.21
     Mary and Levi appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, enumerated 8 Jan 1920, reporting that they owned there home, mortgage free. Their children John, Irene, Inez and Esther were listed as living with them.22
     Levi retired and he and Mary moved into town by 1930.23 They appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois, enumerated 8 Apr 1930, reporting that they owned a home valued at $6,000, and did not own a radio.24
     Her husband died on 14 Aug 1930 in Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois.25,26,27
     Mary appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois, enumerated 30 Apr 1940, reporting that she owned a home valued at $5,000. Her daughter Inez was listed as living with her, both reporting living in the same house in 1935. Also listed were two 50-year-old roomers, Cecil Rubert and James Clay, both laborers.28
     Mary died on 9 Aug 1942 in Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois, at age 74.16,17,18 She was buried on 11 Aug 1942 in Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois.5
