     Anna married Johann Jakob Glebe, son of Johann Hinrich Glebe and Anna Katharina Roos, on 7 Apr 1844 in Niederaula, Hessen.9,10,11

     Anna and Johann arrived in New York, New York, on 3 May 1848, with their son Heinrich, aboard the Lesmonn, sailing as steerage class (below deck) passengers from the port of Bremen.13,14
     A short time later they arrived in Tazewell Co., Illinois, and bought a small farm in Washington Twp., in an area called Farmdale. Many other families from the Germanic states also settled in the same area, many of them marrying into the Glabe family.15
     She was known as Katherine after she immigrated to Illinois.16,17,18
     Katherine and Jacob appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Tazewell Co., Illinois, enumerated 30 Aug 1850, reporting real estate valued at $500. Their children Heinrich and John were listed as living with them.19
     Katherine and Jacob appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, enumerated 11 Jun 1860, reporting real estate valued at $1500 and personal estate of $150. Their children Heinrich, John, Caroline, Jacob, Levi and Sebastian were listed as living with them.20
     Katherine and Jacob appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, enumerated 28 Jun 1870, reporting real estate valued at $3500 and personal estate of $480. Their children Heinrich, John, Caroline, Jacob, Levi and Sebastian were listed as living with them.21
     Katherine and Jacob appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, enumerated 18 Jun 1880. Their children Jacob, Levi and Sebastian were listed as living with them.22
     Her husband died on 12 Jul 1892 in Farmdale, Tazewell Co., Illinois.12,9,8
     Anna died on 19 Dec 1899 in Farmdale, Tazewell Co., Illinois, at age 83.12,8
