Narrative:

     Inez Marie Glabe was born on 25 Jan 1900 in Washington, Illinois.8,9,10 Inez and her sister Ida were twins.
     Inez appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents, Levi Glabe and Mary M. Schuck.6 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents.13 She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents.14
     Inez and her sisters Irene and Esther all moved to California in the mid-1920s, perhaps not all together. Irene is found in Long Beach in 1926. She is not found in California again, and seems to have returned to Illinois.15 Inez and Esther were there by 1927, when they were living at 527 Atlantic Ave. They lived there for a few years, but moved to Los Angeles by 1930.16
     They appeared together on the 1930 Federal Census of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California, at 746 South Lake Ave., enumerated 9 Apr 1930. They were living in the Vivila Apartments, paying $42.50 per month rent.17 While in California Inez worked as a packer in a meat packing house.17
     Esther moved back to Long Beach by 1932. Inez is not listed with her, and seems to have returned to Illinois about that time.18 She appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois, in the household of her mother, Mary M. Schuck.7
     She was an operator of a corn husking machine in a canning factory by 1950, reporting in the 1950 census she had not worked the prior week and was not looking for work.19
     Inez appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois, at 200 Walnut St., enumerated 3 Apr 1950, reporting she lived in a home that was not on a farm. Her twin sister Irene was listed as living with them, as were four male lodgers, a pipe fitter, a cobbler, and two clerks.20
     Inez never married.5,21
     Inez died on 19 Mar 1992 in Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois, at age 92.11,12 She was buried on 20 Mar 1992 in Glendale Cemetery, Washington, Illinois.4
