     Angeline Hartwig was born on 22 Feb 1860 in Indiana.8,9,10 Angeline and Augustus were twins.18,19
     She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Huntington, Huntington Co., Indiana, in the household of her parents, Harmon Jacob Hartwig and Marie Sophie Charlotte Geltmeyer.20
     Her mother apparently died between 1862 and 1870, when Angeline was under 10 years old, perhaps as young as two.21,22,23
     Angeline and her sister Emma appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, enumerated 13 Jul 1870, in the household of Gotteib Miller and his wife Bertha, who as their father's sister.24
     Angeline and her sister Emma appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, on Tremont St., enumerated 7 Jun 1880, in the household of Gotleib Miller and his wife Bertha, who as their father's sister.25 They also appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Huntington Twp., Huntington Co., Indiana, in the household of their father and stepmother, Elizabeth Zahn.5
     She was working in a woolen mill before her marriage.26
     Angeline married Albert Hoffmann, son of John Hoffmann and Mary [surname unknown], on 25 Oct 1881 in St. Peter's Reformed Cemetery, Huntington, Huntington Co., Indiana, with Rev. P. H. Dippell officiating.11,12,13
     Angeline and Albert settled in Cincinnati after their marriage. They appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 1717 Harrison Ave., enumerated 1 Jun 1900, reporting they rented their home. Their children Carl, Alvion, Herman and Oscar were listed as living with them.27
     She was a dressmaker by 1900.28
     Her husband died on 9 Feb 1906 in Cincinnati, Ohio.29,30
     Angeline appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 1721 Harrison Ave., enumerated 27 Apr 1910, reporting she owned her home, which was mortgaged. Her children Alvion, Herman and Oscar were listed as living with her.31
     Angeline was named executrix and an heir in the wills of her sons Oscar and Herman, dated 7 Jul 1917 and 14 Jul 1917 respectively, in Hamilton Co., Ohio. Each left her all their property, after payment of his debts.32 Their wills were probated 3 Apr 1919 in Hamilton Co. court, and she was issued letters testamentary to execute them.32 Copies of the Hamilton Co. probate records of both wills was filed 14 Apr 1919 in Polk Co., Florida, and were admitted for probate there. No record of the reason for filing in Florida has been found, but they must have owned property there.33
     Angeline appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 1721 Harrison Ave., enumerated 2 Jan 1920, reporting she owned her home, free of mortgage. Her son Alvion was listed as living with her.34
     Angeline appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 3489 Stathem Ave., enumerated 2 Apr 1930, reporting she rented her home, for $35 per month, and did not own a radio.35
     Angeline died on 14 Feb 1935, at her residence, 3708 Taft Ave., Cheviot, Ohio, at age 74.14,15 She was buried on 16 Feb 1935 in Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio.16,17
