Narrative:

Nora Crystal Van Gorden was born on 20 Mar 1899 in Marysville, Union Co., OhioG.5,6,7
     She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Zane Twp., Logan Co., Ohio, G in the household of her parents, Henry Clinton Van Gorden and Mollie M. Millidge.18 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Zane Twp., Logan Co., Ohio, G in the household of her parents.19
     She generally used her middle name, Crystal, as a teenager, and continued to use that as her primary name the rest of her life.3,4,20
     Nora married Joseph Elmer Flora, son of Edward K. Flora and Mary Arizona Wellen, on 2 Nov 1915 in Marion, OhioG, with the consent of her mother since she was underage, with Charles W. Haberman, justice of the peace, officiating.8,9,10
     Nora and Joseph appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Marion, Marion Co., Ohio, at 217 Greenwood St. G, enumerated 17 Jan 1920, reporting they rented their home, apparently half of a duplex. Their children June and Treva were listed as living with them.21
     Nora and Joseph appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio, at 861 Fulton St. G, enumerated 8 Apr 1930, reporting they rented their home, for $35 per month, and owned a radio. Their children Treva and Betty were listed as living with them.22
     Nora and Joseph were divorced before 1938.11,12,13
     Nora appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio, at 32 So Ninth St. G, enumerated 16 Apr 1940, reporting she rented her home, for $20 per month. Her daughter Betty was listed as living with her. They reported that they had lived in the same city in 1935.23
     She was a janitress at an advertising company after her divorce, reporting in 1940 he had worked 48 hours the last week of March, and 52 weeks the prior year, earning $720.24
     Nora married second Floyd Edward Kelly, son of Newton Kelly and Clarice McGhee, on 25 Jul 1942 in Randolph, OhioG, with Rev. Newton Kelly Jr. officiating.14
     Her second husband died on 10 Jul 1969 in Columbus, Franklin Co., OhioG.25,26
     Nora died on 29 Aug 1990 in Columbus, Franklin Co., OhioG, at age 91.15,16 She was buried in Marion Cemetery, Marion, Marion Co., OhioG.17
