G, enumerated 24 Apr 1940, reporting that they rented their home, for $150 per month, and that they had lived in Chicago in 1935. Their children James and John were listed as living with them, as was Virginia Anderson, a housemaid, age 26.
19 Sarah was named an heir in the will of
Harry T. Shurtz, her mother's brother, who died 15 Sep 1941, under which a trust was established to contain all of the estate. Income from the trust was to pay $50 per month to the widow, and the remainder to be paid equally to her and her brother
Mark. At the death of the widow they were each to receive one third of the estate, and the remaining third to go to the widow's two daughters.
