Narrative:

Bridget Agnes Hunt was born in Dec 1873 in IrelandG.4,5,6 In most records her name is shown as Bridget, but in a number of others as Beatrice. It would appear that one was a nickname, but which is not clear.9,10,11
     Bridget immigrated in 1888 and later naturalized.12,13
     Bridget married Thomas Joseph O'Brien, son of James O'Brien and Mary Burke, on 4 Sep 1895 in Cook Co., IllinoisG.7,8
     Bridget and Thomas appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, at 2451 Wabash Ave. G, enumerated 7 Jun 1900, reporting that they were renting their home. Their children James and Edna were listed as living with them, as was June Coughlan, identified as a roomer, age 23, married, from Ireland.14
     Bridget and Thomas appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, at 3407 Lexington St. G, enumerated 15 Apr 1910, reporting that they owned their home, which was mortgaged. Their children James, Edna, Thomas, Francis, and Alice were listed as living with them.15
     Bridget and Thomas appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, at 3407 Lexington St. G, enumerated 3 Jan 1920, reporting that they owned their home, free from mortgage. Their children James, Edna, Thomas, Francis, and Alice were listed as living with them, as was Eva Quaid, a 23-year-old neice.16
     Her husband died on 1 May 1928 in Chicago, Cook Co., IllinoisG.17
     Bridget appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, at 5250 Fulton G, enumerated 3 Apr 1930, reporting that she rented her home for $80 per month and owned a radio. Her children James, Francis, and Alice were listed as living with her.11
