Edith L. Marshall was born in Nov 1883 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OhioG.4,5,6
     She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, G in the household of her parents, George Marshall and Hannah Hill.13
     Edith married first John G. Hasselo, son of Anthony Hasselo and Mary Wilmerink, on 16 Mar 1908 in Cuyahoga Co., OhioG, with Rev. James Alexander Jenkins officiating.7,8
     Her husband died on 7 May 1908 in 1889 W. 48th St., Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OhioG.14,15
     Edith married second Grafton Thrasher Fenker, son of Frederick John Fenker and Mary Ellen Marcum, on 5 Jun 1909 in Cuyahoga Co., OhioG, with Rev. James Alexander Jenkins officiating.9,10
     Edith and Grafton appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Lakewood, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, at 1370 Brockley Ave. G, enumerated 12 May 1910.16
     Edith and Grafton moved to DetroitG, where he had lived before their marriage, about 1919. They appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan, at 443 Delaware Ave. G, enumerated 9 Jan 1920.17
     Edith and Grafton appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Orchard Lake, Oakland Co., Michigan, G in the household of Ernst Hillebrandt Fenker and May Elise Schauroth, his cousin and his wife.18
     Edith and Edith appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Orchard Lake, Oakland Co., Michigan, G in the household of his cousin Ernst and his wife, May. They all reported they had lived in the same house in 1935.19
     Edith and Grafton moved to Florida about 1955, when they were living at 731 50th Ave. S, St. Petersburg. G.20,21
     Edith died on 20 Sep 1964 in Pinellas Co., FloridaG, at age 80.11,12

Narrative:

Scharlotte Knight was born in Oct 1892 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OhioG.4,5,6
     She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, G in the household of her parents, James Knight and Catherine Schuler.18 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, G in the household of her parents.19
     Scharlotte married first Arthur Nicholson Fenker, son of Frederick John Fenker and Mary Ellen Marcum, on 22 Feb 1911 in Cuyahoga Co., OhioG, with Rev. Charles Bremmer officiating.7,8,9
      She consistently used the spelling Charlotte for her first name after her first marriage.2,20,21
     Charlotte and Arthur were divorced on 2 Jul 1918 in Cuyahoga Co., OhioG.10,11
     Charlotte has not been found in the 1920 census. She is listed in the 1921 city directory at 1301 West 93rd St., ClevelandG, where Arthur reported living in 1917. But she was not listed at that address in the 1920 census, so prehaps she had moved after the city directory was compiled.22
     She was a cashier before her second marriage.23,24
     Charlotte married second Samuel Bert Wohl, son of Isadore Wohl and Rebecca Sess, on 29 Aug 1921 in Windsor, Essex Co., OntarioG, with Rev. W. Gordon Craig of the All Saints Church, officiating. In applying for the marriage license, both stated they had been residents of Windsor for at least 15 days, that he was age 23 (he was actually 21) and that she was 22 and a spinster (she was actually 28.)12,13,14
     Charlotte and Samuel appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, at 1302 W. 93rd St. G, enumerated 8 Apr 1930, reporting that the family owned its home, valued at $7600, and had a radio. Her son by a previous marriage, Grafton James Fenker, is listed as living with them.25
     Charlotte and Samuel appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Lakewood, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, at 12619 Detroit Ave. G, enumerated in Apr 1940, reporting they owned a home valued at $4,000, and that they had lived in Cleveland in 1935.26
     Charlotte died about 16 Apr 1958 at age ~65.15,16 She was buried on 19 Apr 1958 in Sunset Memorial Park CemeteryG.17,15

     She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Rockport, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, G in the household of her parents, Bert Leroy Benfer and Virginia May Knauss.14 She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Lakewood, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, G in the household of her parents.15
     Alice married first Fred Daley Fenker, son of Frederick John Fenker and Mary Ellen Marcum, on 14 Jul 1925 in Church of the Ascension, 13216 Detroit Ave., Cuyahoga Co., OhioG, with Rev. Wallace M. Gordon officiating.7,8,9
     She and Fred, and their children Barbara and Phyllis, appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Rocky River, Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, G in the household of her parents.16
