G, in the household of her newly widowed mother. She is listed as George Anne S. Mims, a name found no where else. Why she is listed, eight months after her marriage, by her maiden name and without her husband is unknown. He is not listed with his parents in the 1850 census and cannot be found elsewhere. Perhaps he was actually living in the household and was omitted from the record in error.

G, enumerated 11 Aug 1860, reporting real estate of $100 and personal estate of $300. Their children William, Hanson, James, and Effie were listed as living with them, as were Samual A. Smith, age 24 and a laborer, Anna E. Gregory, age 24 and a domestic, and two year old Sue A. Gregory.
