     Frank Alexander was born on 3 October 1838 at Elizabethton, Carter County, Tennessee.^3,2 He was the son of John Alexander and Delilah Woods.² His full name was Franklin Alexander.⁴ The Carter Co. marriage record is the only place where a first initial of "B." has been found; it is possible that a clerk confused the groom with the prospective father-in-law, Benjamin Franklin Keebler..⁵

After 1907 Rev. Frank Alexander lived with his daughter, Annie (Alexander) Fugate, at Indian Springs, Tennessee.⁸ A letter to his children from Indian Springs, dated 8 December 1915, describes events connected with the death of his wife.¹² He died on 13 November 1925 at Rose Lawn, Mt. Jackson, Shenandoah County, Virginia, at age 87, while visiting at the home of his daughter, Carrie (Alexander) Barns.^2,13 He was buried at Round Hill Cemetery, Marion, Smyth County, Virginia; Rev. F. Alexander born Oct. 6, 1838 died Nov. 13, 1925.¹⁴

     Her married name was Alexander.¹ Mary Catherine Keebler was born on 6 June 1843 at Keebler Crossroads, Washington County, Tennessee.^1,3 She was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Keebler and Elizabeth Range Wright.^2,1 Her name has also been spelled "Mary Katherine."³ Mary Catherine Keebler lived between 1844 and 1861 at Buffalo, Unicoi County, Tennessee,; where she was raised by her grandfather, John Wright, after the death of her mother, Elizabeth Range (Wright) Keebler.^1,4

Mary Catherine Keebler converted to Christianity circa 1857.⁶ She married Frank Alexander, son of John Alexander and Delilah Woods, on 24 December 1861 at the John W. Tipton home, Elizabethton; the ceremony was performed by Rev. G. Massey.^1,7,3 Mary Catherine Keebler died at 1:30 a.m. On 29 November 1915 at Erwin, Unicoi County, Tennessee, at age 72, during a visit to her daughter, Mary Virginia Houts.^1,8,4 She was buried at Round Hill Cemetery, Marion, Smyth County, Virginia; "wife of Rev. F. Alexander born June 6, 1848 died Nov. 29, 1915."⁸

     Samuel Lee Alexander was born on 17 December 1862 at Elizabethton, Carter County, Tennessee.¹ He was the son of Frank Alexander and Mary Catherine Keebler.^1,2 Samuel Lee Alexander died on 29 November 1932 at age 69.³ He was buried at Round Hill Cemetery, Marion, Smyth County, Virginia.³

     Her married name was Baldwin.³ Lula Elizabeth Alexander was born on 13 March 1865 at Elizabethton, Carter County, Tennessee; at the time of her birth, Yankee troops occupied Elizabethton. When mother and child were able to travel, father Frank Alexander took his family to Marion, Virginia.^1,3 She was the daughter of Frank Alexander and Mary Catherine Keebler.^1,2

Lula Elizabeth Alexander married Robert Moore Baldwin on 22 July 1885 at Union, Smyth County, Virginia. Frank Alexander performed the ceremony.³

Annie Eliza Alexander was born on 10 January 1870 at Marion, Smyth County, Virginia.^1,2 She was the daughter of Frank Alexander and Mary Catherine Keebler.^1,2 Annie Eliza Alexander married John Keys Fugate on 8 December 1896 at Dickensonville, Virginia.³ Annie Eliza Alexander died on 11 April 1936 at Kingsport, Tennessee, at age 66.⁴ She was buried at Bristol, Tennessee.⁵

     William Franklin Alexander was born on 6 November 1871.^1,2 He was also called "Willie."² He was the son of Frank Alexander and Mary Catherine Keebler.^1,2

     Carrie Tipton Alexander was born on 11 March 1874.¹ She was the daughter of Frank Alexander and Mary Catherine Keebler.^1,2
