     Lola L. Knisley was born on 17 Oct 1897 in Iowa.9,10,11 She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Shenandoah, Page Co., Iowa, in the household of her parents, Orashio Knisley and Louisa Shaw.4 She appeared on the 1905 State Census of 1110 West Thomas Ave., Shenandoah, Page Co., Iowa, in the household of her parents.18,19,2,20,21,22,23 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Shenandoah, Page Co., Iowa, in the household of her parents.5
     Lola married Edgar Lafeyette Morris, son of William A. Morris and Margaret Jennie Reigle, on 25 Mar 1913 in Rock Port, Missouri.12,13,14
     Lola and Edgar appeared on the 1915 State Census of Locust Grove Twp., Fremont Co., Iowa, reporting they rented their home.24,25 They also appeared on the 1915 State Census of Shenandoah, Page Co., Iowa, reporting that they rented their home, and that they were affiliated with the Methodist Church.26,27

Their children Louise, Bertha and Rachel were listed as living with them, as was Louise's husband, William Edwin Hooton. They reported they had lived in the same town in 1935, except for Louise and her husband, who had lived in Hamburg, Fremont Co.31
     With her husband out of work, Lola was working as a laundress in a hospital in 1940. She reported she had worked 54 hours the last week of March, and had worked 50 weeks the prior year, earning $300.31 She reported in the 1950 census that she was doing washing and ironing at her home laundry, had worked 30 hours the prior week, and had earned $200 the prior year.32
     Lola and Edgar appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Shenandoah, Page Co., Iowa, at 909 W Lowell Ave., enumerated 4 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm and they lived in the same house the year before.33
     Her husband died on 15 Dec 1969 in Clarinda, Page Co., Iowa.12,34,35
     Lola died in Dec 1987 at age 90.15,16 She was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Shenandoah, Page Co., Iowa, next to her husband.17
