     George F. Reigel was born on 17 Nov 1909 in Arrow, Oregon.7,8,9
     He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Silver Lake, Lake Co., Oregon, in the household of his parents, Ralph Orzben Reigel and Edith Jennie Roberts.5
     He moved to Deschutes Co., Oregon, with his parents, probably before 1917. He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Terrebonne, Deschutes Co., Oregon, in the household of his parents.22
     George moved to Jackson Co., Oregon, with his parents by 1930.23 He appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Ashland, Jackson Co., Oregon, in the household of his parents.24
     George married first Helen Doris Madden, daughter of Arthur Allen Madden and Nellie May Roughton, on 11 Mar 1934 in Jackson Co., Oregon.10,11,12
     George and Helen moved to northern California by 1935. George applied for a Social Security Number 1 Dec 1936, while living at Hilt, California, where he was employed by Fruit Growers Supply Company.3
     George and Helen appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Hilt, Siskiyou Co., California, enumerated 18 Apr 1940, reporting that they rented their home, for $9 per month, and had lived in rural Siskiyou Co. in 1935. Their children Wylin and Richard were listed as living with them.25
     He was a machinist, working in a box factory in 1940 and reporting he had worked 42 hours the last week of weeks the March and 52 weeks the previous year, earning $1,836.25,26
     George registered for the draft for World War II on 16 Oct 1940, while living at Hilt, Siskiyou Co., California, reporting he was employed by Fruit Growers Supply Company in Hilt.27
     George and Helen moved to Medford, Oregon, by 1942, when they were living at 128 Wimer.28
     In Medford George worked for Medford Corporation, variously identifying his occupation as welder and mill worker. He reported in the 1950 census he had not worked the prior week and was not looking for work. He also reported working 44 weeks in 1949, earning $3,500 in wages or salary.29,30,31
     George and Helen were divorced on 3 Mar 1945 in Jackson Co., Oregon, after she filed on Feb 1945, on grounds of cruelty. He did not contest.13,14,15
     George appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Medford, Jackson Co., Oregon, at 909, enumerated 25 Apr 1950, reporting he lived in a home that was not on a farm and he lived in the same house the year before. He sharing the home with Royal Klumph, owner of a juke box company.32
     He was active in union affairs. He was elected conductor of the AFL Northwestern Council of Lumber and Sawmill workers and installed at their meeting in Portland on 17 Dec 1951 in Medford, Oregon.33
     George married second Juanita Iola Harshfield, daughter of Loren T. Harshfield and Gertrude Brown, on 28 Jun 1952 in Medford, Jackson Co., Oregon, with Meredith A. Groves officiating. She had previously been married to William Roscoe Vance.16,17
     Juanita died on 19 Feb 1970 in Jackson Co., Oregon.34,35
     George died on 11 Aug 1974 in Sequim, Clallam Co., Washington, at age 64.18,19 He was buried on 20 Aug 1974 in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford, Jackson Co., Oregon.20,21
