     Juanita Iola Harshfield was born on 14 Jun 1909 in Nebraska.9,10,11
     She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Sutherland, Lincoln Co., Nebraska, in the household of her parents, Loren T. Harshfield and Gertrude Brown.4 She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Sutherland, Lincoln Co., Nebraska, in the household of her parents.5
     Juanita married William Roscoe Vance on 5 Jul 1928 in Emmett, Gem Co., Idaho, with W. T. Cronch, probate judge, officiating.12,13,14
     William appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Bench, Gem Co., Idaho,, with 21 other farm worker in what appears to be a workers residence on a large farm. Juanita and their infant daughter Juanita are not listed there. Her parents appeared in the census in West Emmett, Gem Co., but she and the child are not listed with them, nor have they been found elsewhere.22,23
     Juanita and William appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Medford, Jackson Co., Oregon, at 1135 Court St., enumerated 5 Apr 1940, reporting they owned a home valued at $1,200, and that they had lived in New Plymouth, Payette Co., Idaho in 1935. Their children Vivienne, Gerald, Barbara and Betty were listed as living with them.24
     Juanita and William appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Medford, Jackson Co., Oregon, at 920 Beatty, enumerated 21 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm. Three of their children were listed as living with them.25
     Juanita filed for divorce from William in Sep 1951 in Jackson Co., Oregon. No record of the final decree has been found, but was apparently granted as she reported she was divorced when she re-married the following year.15,16
     Juanita married second George F. Reigel, son of Ralph Orzben Reigel and Edith Jennie Roberts, on 28 Jun 1952 in Medford, Jackson Co., Oregon, with Meredith A. Groves officiating. He had previously been married to Helen Doris Madden.17,18
     Juanita died on 19 Feb 1970 in Jackson Co., Oregon, at age 60.19,20 She was buried in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford, Jackson Co., Oregon.21
