     She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Bratton Twp., Adams Co., Ohio, in the household of her father, Solomon Groves.4
     Jennie married first Lawrence Martin, son of Anton Martin and Otillia Fick, on 20 Feb 1904 in Highland Co., Ohio, with Rev. W. A. Deaton officiating. He had previously been married to Grace B. Mills.11
     Jennie and Lawrence were divorced before 1911, and probably before 1910. No record of the divorce has been found, but in 1910 he was living in Portland, Oregon, and claiming to be single. She reported she was divorced when she married again in 1911.12,13
     JennieJennie has not been found in the 1910 census, but she was apparently living in Highland Co. In her application for marriage license the following January she said she was living in Greenfield, and her occupation was house work.5
     Jennie married second Elijah Elsworth Wilson, son of William A. Wilson and Maggie Cassidy, on 22 Jan 1911 in Highland Co., Ohio, with Rev. G. C. McKibben officiating, with the consent of his mother since he was under age.14
     Jennie filed for divorce from Elijah in Highland Co., Ohio, Common Pleas court in May 1914, on the grounds of neglect of duty. She charged that he had been dissipated and had failed to provide her with the common necessities of life, so that she has been compelled to live by her own exertions and labors, and that in March 1912 he deserted her and that since then she had not heard from him. She asked for a divorce and that she be restored to her maiden name of Jennie Martin. The divorce was subsequently granted.15,16
     Jennie married third Charles Everett Brose, son of William Joseph H. Brose and Edna Caroline Shaffer, on 4 Sep 1915 in Highland Co., Ohio, with Rev. B. F. Smith officiating. He had previously been married to Bessie Gertrude Warman.17,18,19
     Jennie and Charles appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Liberty Twp., Highland Co., Ohio, on Haub Rd., enumerated 6 Jan 1920, reporting they rented their home. His children by his prior marriage, Merle, Myrtle, Audie and James, were listed as living with them, as was his father.24
     Jennie and Charles moved to Montgomery Co. before 1930. They appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio, at 1529 Richard St., enumerated 6 Apr 1930, reporting they rented their home, for $30 per month, and did not own a radio. His children Merle, Myrtle and James were listed as living with them.25
     Jennie and Charles returned before 1940. They appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Jackson Twp., Highland Co., Ohio, on May Hill Rd., enumerated 16 Apr 1940, reporting they rented their home, for $8 per month, and that they had lived in the same house in 1935.26
     Jennie and Charles appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Jackson Twp., Highland Co., Ohio, enumerated 6 Apr 1950, reporting they lived on a farm. Her 14-year-old nephew James Groves was listed as living with them.27
     Jennie died on 16 Jul 1955 in Highland Co., Ohio, at age 67.20,21,22 She was buried in Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum, Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio.23
