     George Isadore Zurbach was born on 9 May 1873 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.8,9,10
     He moved to Indiana with his parents before 1880. He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Jefferson Twp., Allen Co., Indiana, in the household of his parents, Xavier Zurbach and Elizabeth Rentz.4
     He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Fort Wayne, Allen Co., Indiana, in the household of his mother.7
     George married Margaret A. Kuhlman, daughter of Friedrich Heinrich Geltmayer and Varena Long, on 18 Oct 1905 in Huntington Co., Indiana, with Rev. J. H. Hueser offciating.11,12
     He was a dry goods salesman in Fort Wayne.15,16,17,18
     George and Margaret appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Fort Wayne, Allen Co., Indiana, at 459 East Dewald St., enumerated 29 Apr 1910, reporting they rented their home. Their son Frederick was listed as living with them.19
