     Margaret A. Kuhlman was born on 29 Mar 1878 in Huntington, Indiana.9,10,11
     She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Huntington, Huntington Co., Indiana, in the household of her parents, Frederick Kuhlman and Varena Long.4 She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Huntington, Huntington Co., Indiana, in the household of her parents.5
     She was a dry goods saleswoman before her marriage.18,19
     Margaret married George Isadore Zurbach, son of Xavier Zurbach and Elizabeth Rentz, on 18 Oct 1905 in Huntington Co., Indiana, with Rev. J. H. Hueser offciating.12,13
     Margaret moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he had been living, after their marriage. They appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Fort Wayne, Allen Co., Indiana, at 459 East Dewald St., enumerated 29 Apr 1910, reporting they rented their home. Their son Frederick was listed as living with them.20
     Margaret was named an heir in the will of her father dated 5 Jul 1918, in which she was to receive an equal share in the estate with her seven siblings.21
     Margaret and George appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Fort Wayne, Allen Co., Indiana, at 459 E Taber St., enumerated 15 Jan 1920, reporting they rented their home. Their children Frederick, Dorothy and Miriam were listed as living with them.22
     Margaret and George moved to South Bend by 1927, when they were living at 121 North Saint Louis St. She was working as a clerk at Robertson Bros., and he was a salesman at the Ellsworth Store.23 They appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of South Bend, St Joseph Co., Indiana, at 121 North Saint Louis St., enumerated 7 Apr 1930, reporting they rented their home, for $35.00 per month, and did not own a radio. Their children Frederick, Dorothy and Miriam were listed as living with them.24
     She was not working in 1930, but had returned to work as a saleslady at a dry goods store by 1940, when she reported she had worked 42 hours the last week of March, and 52 weeks the prior year, earning $768.25,26
     Margaret and George appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of South Bend, St Joseph Co., Indiana, at 615 Leland, enumerated 19 Apr 1940, reporting they rented their home, for $25.00 per month, and that they had lived in the same house in 1935. Their daughter Dorothy was listed as living with them.27
     Margaret died on 3 Jul 1959 in South Bend, Indiana, at age 81.14,15 She was buried on 6 Jul 1959 in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, St. Joseph Co., Indiana.16,17
