Narrative:

     10 Sarah Jane Street was born on 17 Aug 1833 in Ohio.6,7,8
     She moved to Missouri with her parents, John M. Street, and Mariah Brady about 1839. She was probably the female age 5 to 10 listed in the household of her father in the 1840 Federal Census of Wakenda, Carroll Co., Missouri.13
     She appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Carroll Co., Missouri, in the household of her parents. Her future husband's family was living close by as they are listed as the previous household on the census record.14
     Sarah married John Wesley Isom, son of Jonathan Isom and Martha Miles, on 14 Aug 1851 in Carroll Co., Missouri, with A. B. Poindexter, justice of the peace, officiating. He was a brother of the woman her brother Andrew would marry two years later.9,10,11
     Sarah and John appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Morris Twp., Carroll Co., Missouri, enumerated 1 Aug 1860, reporting real estate valued at $1,200 and personal estate of $1,000. Their children James, William and Jonathan were listed as living with them, as was W. M. Appleberry, a 17-year-old farm laborer.15
     Sarah and John appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Morris Twp., Carroll Co., Missouri, enumerated 30 Jun 1870, reporting real estate valued at $1,600 and personal estate of $1,616. Their children James, William, Jonathan, George, John, Walter and Sylvester were listed as living with them.16 Lucinda and Andrew Jackson Street, his sister and her brother, and their family were evidently living close by as they appear as the second following household in the census record.17
     Sarah and John appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Morris Twp., Carroll Co., Missouri, enumerated 22 Jun 1880. Their children George, John, Walter, Sylvester and Wesley were listed as living with them. Their son James and his wife and daughter were living close by or with them as they were listed as the previous household in census record. Her brother and his sister and their family were still living nearby, as they were listed as the third preceding household.18
     In the final distribution of her father's estate in Aug 1889, Sarah and each of her living siblings received $602.17 9/11.19
     Sarah died on 18 May 1894 at age 60.6 She was buried in the Streets Family Cemetery, Bogard, Carroll Co., Missouri.12
