     Thomas Joseph O'Brien was born on 12 Jun 1868 in Ottowa, Illinois.7,8,9,10 He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Ottawa, LaSalle Co., Illinois, in the household of his parents, James O'Brien and Mary Burke.13 He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Ottawa, LaSalle Co., Illinois, in the household of his parents.5
     Thomas married Bridget Agnes Hunt on 4 Sep 1895 in Cook Co., Illinois.11,12
     Thomas and Bridget appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, at 2451 Wabash Ave., enumerated 7 Jun 1900, reporting that they were renting their home. Their children James and Edna were listed as living with them, as was June Coughlan, identified as a roomer, age 23, married, from Ireland.14
     Thomas and Bridget appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, at 3407 Lexington St., enumerated 15 Apr 1910, reporting that they owned their home, which was mortgaged. Their children James, Edna, Thomas, Francis and Alice were listed as living with them.2

Their children James, Edna, Thomas, Francis and Alice were listed as living with them, as was Eva Quaid, a 23-year-old neice.15
     He was a material carrier in 1900, and a letter carrier for the post office by 1910.16,17,18,19
     Thomas died on 1 May 1928 in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, at age 59.3 He was buried on 4 May 1928 in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.3
