     Frances A. Buster was born about 1837 in Charlotte Co., Virginia.6,7,8
     She was probably one of the two females under age 5 listed in the household of her father, John J. Buster, in the 1840 Federal Census of Charlotte Co., Virginia.14 She appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Charlotte Co., Virginia, in the household of her parents, John J. Buster and Jane Elizabeth Thomas.15
     She moved to Halifax Co. with her parents before 1860. She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Halifax Co., Virginia, in the household of her parents.16
     Frances married William Edward Britton, son of Isham H. Britton and Mary W. Toot, and older brother of the man her sister Elizabeth had married eight years before, on 30 Jan 1866 in Halifax Co., Virginia.9,10,11
     Frances and William appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Halifax Courthouse, Halifax Co., Virginia, enumerated 13 Sep 1870, reporting personal estate of $600. Their son Henry was listed as living with them as were his children Mary, Maria, Henrietta and Sarah by his prior marriage.17
     Frances died on 2 Jul 1875 in Halifax Co., Virginia, in childbirth.12,13
