     Sophia Maria Cobb was born on 3 Feb 1823 in Kentucky.5,6,7
     She was probably the female age 5 to 10 listed in the household of her father, John Cobb, in the 1830 Federal Census of Eddyville, Caldwell Co., Kentucky.13
     Her father died about 1834, when Sophia was about 11 years old.14
     Sophia married William Cook, son of William Cook and Elizabeth Rose, on 13 Jul 1844 in Caldwell Co., Kentucky.8,9
     Sophia and William Cook appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Hickman Co., Kentucky, enumerated 21 Aug 1850, reporting real estate valued at $2,000, and one female slave, age 17. Their children Thomas, John and Isaac were listed as living with them, as was his brother Richard Edwin Cook.15,16
     Sophia died on 3 Aug 1859 in Hickman Co., Kentucky, at age 36, from complications of childbirth.10,11,7 She was buried in Columbus Cemetery, Columbus, Hickman Co., Kentucky.12
