     Glenn William Fryer was born on 25 Dec 1902 in Evansville, Wisconsin.8,9,10 He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Aurora, Kane Co., Illinois, in the household of his parents, Edward Fryer and Fay Marie Sadie.7
     Glenn appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Sharon, Walworth Co., Wisconsin, enumerated 12 Jan 1920, as a hired man on the farm of Ray Gile and his wife and three daughters.18
     Glenn married first Myrtle May Dade, daughter of Reuben Dade and Caroline Milton, about 1926.11,12
     Glenn and Myrtle appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Fontana, Walworth Co., Wisconsin, at Third Ave., enumerated 9 Apr 1930, reporting they were renting their home, for $15 per month, and owned a radio. Their daughter Edythe was listed as living with them.2
     Glenn married second Jessie Myrtle Welburn, daughter of Samuel James Welburn and Jennie Eldora Stingley, between 1935 and 1940. She had previously been married to Adin Ralph Reigel.13,14,15
     Glenn and Jessie appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Orland, Glenn Co., California, on Railroad Ave., enumerated 10 Apr 1940, reporting they were renting their home, for $16 per month. His children by his prior marriage, Edythe and Glen, were listed as living with them. He reported he had lived in the same town in 1935, while she reported she had lived in a rural part of the county.3
     He was a laborer on a farm at age 18. He was a mechanic in an auto repair shop by 1930. In 1940 he reported he had worked 48 hours the last week of March, and had worked 36 weeks the prior year, earning $1,555.19,20,21
     Glenn and Jessie moved to Live Oak, California, about 1946.22,23 He was later manager of Fadie Manufacturing Co. in Live Oak, California, manufacturers of farm equipment, reporting in the 1950 census he had worked 40 hours the prior week in Live Oak, California.24,6 He served as the first fire chief of the volunteer fire department in Live Oak.6
     Glenn and Jessie appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Live Oak, Sutter Co., California, on Archer Ave., enumerated 3 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm. His son Glen was listed as living with them.25
     Glenn died on 7 Dec 1952 in Penny's Landing, Rio Vista, Solano Co., California, at age 49, of a heart attach while docking a boat.16,17
