     Her mother died in 1908, when Elsie was about 13 years old.17,18,19
     She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Pleasant Ridge, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of her father, Friedrick A. Fenker.4
     Elsie married Ira Counterman Shore, son of Alonzo F. Shore and Alice Applegate, on 16 Jan 1915 in Hamilton Co., Ohio, with Rev. Fred Hohmann offciating.10,11,12
