     George married Annie Scully, daughter of John Scully and Catherine Noonan, on 13 Jun 1884 in Hamilton Co., Ohio, with Rev. William J. Halley, Roman Catholic priest, officiating.12,13
     He was a store clerk by age 14, and for some years afterwards, working for Otte Carpet Company in Cincinnati.20,21,22 He had become a carpet cutter by 1900, and by 1920 an upholster at C. F. Brower Furniture Company in Lexington, retiring in 1926 because of his health.23,24,25,26,27
