     Clara Marie Ketterer was born on 10 Mar 1892 in Dayton, Kentucky.9,10,11
     She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Bellevue, Campbell Co., Kentucky, in the household of her parents, Peter Joseph Ketterer and Anna M. Schmidt.4 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Bellevue, Campbell Co., Kentucky, in the household of her parents.5
     Clara married first Harrison R. V. Kimmich on 4 May 1910 in Bellevue, Campbell Co., Kentucky, with Rev. W. Henpen officiating.12
     Clara and Harrison were divorced before 1916.13,14
     Clara married second Harry William Fenker, son of Friedrich August Fenker and Friederike Luise Wilhelmine Schlüter, on 1 Jan 1916 in Newport, Campbell Co., Kentucky, with Thomas Gerching, justice of the peace, officiating.15,16
     Clara and Harry appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Bellevue, Campbell Co., Kentucky, at 127 Retreat St., enumerated 7 Jan 1920, reporting that the family rented its home. Their daughter Edith and her daughter by her previous marriage, Orma, were listed as living with them.21
     Clara and Harry were apparently divorced before 1927, when he remarried, though no record of their divorce has been found.17,18
     Clara appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Newport, Campbell Co., Kentucky, at 705 Ann St., enumerated 10 Apr 1930, reporting she rented her home, for $20 per month, and did not own a radio. Her children Orma and Edith were listed as living with her, with her and both daughters listed under her first married name, Kimmich.22
     She was listed in the 1930 census as a seamstress, but not other records show here with an occupation.23
     Clara appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Newport, Campbell Co., Kentucky, at 705 Ann St., enumerated 22 Apr 1940, reporting she owned a home valued at $1,800. Her daughter Edith was listed as living with her. She, but not Edith, were listed under her second married name, Fenker. They reported that they had lived in the same house in 1935.24
     Clara died on 18 Mar 1970 in Dayton, Campbell Co., Kentucky, at age 78.19,20 She was buried on 21 Mar 1970 in St. Stephens Cemetery, Ft. Thomas, Kentucky.19
