     Noma Alvina Imel was born on 27 Sep 1876 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.7,8,9 She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Jackson Twp., Gentry Co., Missouri, in the household of her parents, Thomas Imel and Violetta Riegel.5 She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri, in the household of her parents.14
     She worked in millinery before her marriage.14
     Noma married Frank Sanner, son of Anton Sanner and Francisca Tryer, on 28 Jun 1903 in Savannah, Andrew Co., Missouri, with Judge Joe H. Chapman officiating.10,11
     Noma and Frank moved to 2919 Charles soon after their marriage, and lived there the rest of their lives, each dieing there. Their daughter and her husband lived there after their marriage.15
     Noma and Frank appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri, at 2919 Charles St., enumerated 25 Apr 1910, reporting that the family owned its home, free of mortgage. Their daughter Frances was listed as living with them.16
     Norma's parents moved in with her and her husband about 1916 and lived with them the rest of their lives. Her brother Oscar moved in about the same time and lived there about two years.17 Noma and Frank appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri, at 2919 Charles St., enumerated 8 Jan 1920, reporting that the family owned its home, free of mortgage. Their daughter Frances was listed as living with them, as was her mother, Violetta Riegel.18
     Her husband died on 19 Jun 1920 in 2919 Charles St., St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri.19
     Noma appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri, at 2919 Charles St., enumerated 15 Apr 1930, reporting that she owned a home worth $5,000 but did not own a radio. Her daughter Frances was listed as living with her.20
     Noma appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri, in the household of Frances and Harry D. Stanfield, her daughter and her husband. They reported that they had lived in Chicago in 1935.21
     Noma died on 7 Apr 1941 at her residence, 2919 Charles St., St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri, at age 64.3 She was buried on 9 Apr 1941 in Mt. Mora Cemetery, St. Joseph, Missouri, in her father's lot.12,13
