     Clement Meade Fenker was born on 28 May 1889 in Covington, Kentucky.7,8,9
     He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of his parents, John William Fenker and Amelia Louise Wieman.4

He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of his parents.19
     His father having died, he moved with his mother to 448 Considine Ave. by 1913.20
     Clement graduated from Cincinnati University, where he was a star quarterback. According to a 1913 newspaper article he was "one of the most sensational players the varsity has developed in years." But he did not like his mother to watch him play. He said "I feel I cannot enter the contest with the same fighting spirit as when I know she is at home. My mother is of a rather nervous disposition. Football is no child's game, and a player is liable to be hurt at any time."21,22
     Clement married first Margaret Viola Thompson, daughter of Dr. John Albert Thompson and Lillian Morris, on 25 Dec 1914 on Grand Ave., Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at the home of her parents, with Rev. Henry G. Paps, priest of the Protestant Episcopal Church, officiating.10,11,12
     He was a chemist for an exhaust manufacturing company in 1910.19 He registered for the draft for World War I on 3 Jun 1917, while living at 421 Grand Ave, Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, reporting he was employed as the superintendent of a garage for Union Gas and Electric Co., in Cincinnati.2
     Clement and Margaret appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 421 Grand Ave., enumerated 14 Jan 1920, reporting they rented their home. Their children Margaret and Lillian were listed as living with them.23
     He was an electrical engineer, working as a consulting engineer by 1920. By 1930 he was a building engineer.24,25
     Clement and Margaret appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 3142 Auten Ave., enumerated 12 Apr 1930, reporting that the family owned a home worth $8,500, and a radio set. Their children Margaret, Lillian and Howard were listed as living with them.26
     His wife died on 23 Mar 1931 in 2701 Melrose Ave., Norwood, Hamilton Co., Ohio.27,28,29
     Clement married second Marie Sullivan, daughter of James E. Sullivan and Maria C. Sullivan, on 25 Sep 1937 in Hamilton Co., Ohio, with Rev. Autonine Brockhuis, Catholic priest, officiating.13,14,15
     Clement and Marie appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Colerain Twp., Hamilton Co., Ohio, on Zoellner Rd., enumerated 18 Apr 1940, reporting that they owned a home valued at $11,000 and had lived in Cincinnati in 1935. His son Howard was listed as living with them, reporting that he had been living in rural Franklin Co, Indiana, in 1935.30
     He joined A. M. Kinney, Inc., consulting engineers, in 1940. that year he reported he was a mechanical engineer, and had worked 30 hours the last week of March and had worked 35 weeks the prior year.31,32 Clement registered for the draft for World War II on 26 Apr 1942, while living at Mt. Healthy, Hamilton Co., Ohio, reporting he was employed by A. M. Kinney, Inc., in Cincinnati.33 He was Assistant Chief of Engineers for A. M. Kinney, Inc. at the time of his death.34,35
     Clement and Marie have not been found in the 1950 census.
     Clement died on 29 Sep 1952 in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at age 63.16,17 He was buried on 2 Oct 1952 in St. Joseph New Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio.3,18
