Lillian Fenker was born on 8 Oct 1917 in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio.8,9,10 Her birth certficate shows her name as Mary Lillian, but there is no evidence she ever used Mary as part of her name.17She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of her parents, Clement Meade Fenker and Margaret Viola Thompson.4 She appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of her parents.5
Her mother died on 23 Mar 1931, when Lillian was 13 years old.18,19,20
After the death of her mother, Lillian was sent to Nashville, Tennessee, to live with her father's brother Howard and his wife. While there she graduated from Peabody Demonstration School.21
Lillian has not been found in the 1940 census. It seems likely she was back in Cincinnati by then, and she may have been the Lillian Fenker listed in the 1940 city directory at 10 View Ct., the Glencoe-Auburn Hotel.22
She was employed in the office of the city auditor before her marriage.3
Lillian married Ralph Edward Cors, son of Albert George Cors and Laura Luhring, on 20 Feb 1943, at her father's home on Zoellner Rd., Groesbeck, Hamilton Co., Ohio, with Rev. R. Dale LeCount, pastor of College Hill Presbyterian Church, offciating.11,12,13
Lillian and Ralph appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 3252 Dartmouth Dr, enumerated 11 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm. Their two children were listed as living with them.23
Lillian and Ralph separated about 1959, but remained on friendly terms and never divorced. He lived with his mother in Cincinnati. After his retirement in 1973 he also had a house in Orlando, Florida, where he lived during the winter.24,25,26,27
She became a secretary for an insurance company.28
Her husband died on 17 Feb 1982 in Melbourne, Brevard Co., Florida.29,30,31
Lillian died on 5 Oct 1998 in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at age 80.10,14,15 She was buried in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Evendale, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the family plot with her husband, his mother and step-father, and their daughter Marilyn.16
