     Marietta Eliza Cobb was born on 2 Sep 1845 in Napoleon, Indiana.8,9,10,11
     Her father died on 6 Sep 1849, when Marietta was 4 years old.17,18
     She appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Greensburg, Decatur Co., Indiana, in the household of her mother, Submit S. Garlinghouse.19
     Marietta moved to Switzerland Co. with her mother, after she re-married. She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Cotton Twp., Switzerland Co., Indiana, in the household of her mother, Joseph Israel, and stepfather, Joseph Israel.20
     Marietta married William Gibson Wynn, son of Joseph Wynn and Margaret Armstrong, on 22 Apr 1865 in Decatur Co., Indiana, with Nixon Stewart officiating.12,13
     Marietta and William settled in Illinois after their marriage. They appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Jonathan Creek, Moultrie Co., Illinois, enumerated 26 Jul 1870, reporting no real estate but personal estate of $325. Their children Franklin and Samuel were listed as living with them.21
     Marietta and William returned to Indiana about 1873. They appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Clifty Twp., Bartholomew Co., Indiana, enumerated 14 Jun 1880. Their children Franklin, Samuel, Margaret, Ida and Eva were listed as living with them, as was Hannah Clark, a servant.22
     Marietta and William moved to Lebanon about 1884.23 They appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Center Twp., Boone Co., Indiana, at 511 Jennison St., enumerated 12 Jun 1900, reporting they owned their home, free of mortgage.24
     Marietta applied for a pension based on the Spanish American War service of her son Oscar 25 Jul 1904.25 Her pension was approved 12 Oct 1907, for $12 per month, effective the date of her application.26
     Marietta and William appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Center Twp., Boone Co., Indiana, enumerated 28 Apr 1910, reporting they owned their farm, free of mortgage.27
     Marietta died on 26 Oct 1918, at her residence, 309 W. Dicks St., Lebanon, Boone Co., Indiana, at age 73.14,15 She was buried on 28 Oct 1918 in Oak Hill Cemetery.16
