Friedrich Hinrich Fennker was born on 1 Oct 1832 in No. 100, Brockum, Kingdom of HanoverG.4,5,6
     He was baptized on 7 Oct 1832 in Evangelische Lutherische Kirche, Brockum, Kingdom of HanoverG, with Gert Hinrich Koop in Drohne, Friedrich Hinrich Kettler in Arenkamp, and Johann Friedrich [Langmer?] as godparents.1
     Friedrich was confirmed in the Evangelische Lutherische Kirche, Brockum, Kingdom of HanoverG, in 1847, ranking first in his class.9
     Friedrich appeared on the 1852 Census of Brockum, Kingdom of Hanover, in the household of his parents.10
     Friedrich married Marie Sophie Agnese Bültemeyer, daughter of Johann Friedrich Riggert and Marie Elisabeth Bültemeyer, on 20 May 1853 in Evangelische Lutherische Kirche, Brockum, Kingdom of HanoverG.7
     Friedrich and Marie lived on her family's farm for a time after their marriage.11 He was then known by the farm name Bültemeyer.11
     Friedrich and Marie moved by 1862 to the Kuhlmann farm, where he was a Brinksitzer. The term "Brink-Sitzer" comes from "Brink" - a village outskirt where cattle grazed and "Sitzer" - from "resident there." Brinksitzer were usually rather poor farmers with little or no land. Their land was usually rented and located on the outskirts of the village.3 He was then known by the farm name Kuhlmann.12
     Friedrich died on 23 Jan 1896 in Brockum, German EmpireG, at age 63.8
