Narrative:

Myrtle F. Dodd was born on 27 Feb 1885 in Jamestown, Greene Co., OhioG.4,5,6
     Her mother died on 8 Jan 1892, when Myrtle was 6 years old.15
     Myrtle appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Jamestown Twp., Greene Co., Ohio, G in the household of her father, John P. Dodd, and stepmother, Blanche B. Ginn.16
     Her stepmother died in 1902, when Myrtle was about 17 years old.17
     Myrtle appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Silver Creek Twp., Greene Co., Ohio, G in the household of her father and second stepmother, Dora S. Sapp.18
     Myrtle married Henry C. Fenker, son of Johann Hinrich Wilhelm Fennker and Johanna Louise Baum, on 12 Jul 1922 in Greene Co., OhioG, with Rev. Bertha E. Day officiating.7,8,9
     After their marriage, Myrtle joined Henry in operating his florist shop and the Fenker Greenhouse. It appears she retired before 1940, as she is not listed as involved in the 1940 census.19,20,21,22 When she sold the greenhouse property after his death it was described as 10,000 square feet under glass, 11 acres, and a six-room modern house.23
     Myrtle and Henry appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Silver Creek Twp., Greene Co., Ohio G, enumerated 9 May 1930.24
     Myrtle was named an heir in the will of her father, dated 28 Aug 1935 Jamestown, Greene Co., Ohio, to receive, after the death of her second stepmother, an equal share of what remained of his estate.25
     Myrtle and Henry appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Silver Creek Twp., Greene Co., Ohio G, enumerated 11 Apr 1940, reporting they owned a home valued at $5,000, and that they had lived in the same house in 1935.26
     Her husband died on 10 Jan 1944 in Springfield, Clark Co., OhioG.27,28,29
     Myrtle died on 11 Mar 1971 at her home, 12 Sycamore St., Jamestown, Greene Co., OhioG, at age 86.10,11,12 She was buried on 15 Mar 1971 in Jamestown Cemetery, Jamestown, Greene Co., OhioG, next to her husband.13,14
