     She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, G in the household of her parents, Levi Glabe and Mary M. Schuck.11 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, G in the household of her parents.12
      By 1917 Katherine was working in Peoria as a domestic, in the home of James A. Hunter and his family, at 303 N. Madison Ave. G.13
     Katherine appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Peoria, Peoria Co., Illinois, at 519 Monroe St. G, enumerated 13 Jan 1920, listed as a housekeeper in the household of Dr. J. W. Parker, his wife, and adult son.14 She continued to work for the Parkers until her marriage.15
     Katherine married Samuel J. Lober, son of Peter Lober and Marie Margaret Karchar, on 30 Nov 1922 in Peoria, IllinoisG.7,6,8

     Katherine and Samuel appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Ash Grove Twp., Iroquois Co., Illinois G, enumerated 25 Apr 1940, reporting they were renting their home, for $10 per month, and had lived in the same house in 1935. Their children Marian, Donna, and Ross were listed as living with them, as was Walter Ferdinand, a farm laborer identified as a hired hand.17

     He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Cissna Park, Iroquois Co., Illinois, G in the household of his parents, Peter Lober and Marie Margaret Karchar.13 He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Pigeon Grove Twp., Iroquois Co., Illinois, G in the household of his parents.14
     Samuel registered for the draft for World War I on 23 May 1917, while living at Cissna Park, IllinoisG, reporting he was employed sampling wringers for the Hetorfer Brothers Co., wash machine and wringer manufacturers in East Peoria.15
     Samuel enlisted in the U.S. Army 12 May 1918, serving in World War I. He was discharged 26 Jul 1919 with a rank of corporal.16,17

     Ida appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, G in the household of her parents, Levi Glabe and Mary M. Schuck.9 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, G in the household of her parents.10
      By age 10 she was going by her middle name, Irene, and seems to have used that exclusively the rest of her life.3,11,12
     She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, G in the household of her parents.13
     Irene and her sisters Inez and Esther all moved to California in the mid-1920s, perhaps not all together. Irene is found in Long Beach in 1926, living at 1048 Junipero Ave. G She appears to have been living with Rev. Henry Page and his family there. She is not found in California again, and seems to have returned to Illinois.14
     By 1929 she was living in Peoria. However, she seems to have soon after become seriously ill.15
     Irene appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Mackinaw Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, listed as one of about 50 patients at Oak Knoll Sanatorium G, a public tuberculosis hospital, enumerated 24 Apr 1930.16
     Irene has not been found in the 1940 census.
     Irene appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois, G in the household of her twin sister Inez. There were also four lodgers listed in the household.17
     She never married.18,19
     Irene died on 16 Dec 1967 in Washington, IllinoisG, at age 67.4,7 She was buried in Glendale Cemetery, Washington, Tazewell Co., IllinoisG.8

      Esther moved back to Long Beach by 1932. Inez is not listed with her, and seems to have returned to Illinois about that time.16 She appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois, G in the household of her mother, Mary M. Schuck.17
     She was an operator of a corn husking machine in a canning factory by 1950, reporting in the 1950 census she had not worked the prior week and was not looking for work.18
     Inez appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois, at 200 Walnut St. G, enumerated 3 Apr 1950, reporting she lived in a home that was not on a farm. Her twin sister Irene was listed as living with them, as were four male lodgers, a pipe fitter, a cobbler, and two clerks.19
     Inez never married.20,21

Raymond Jones was born on 31 Dec 1889 in Mt. Vernon, IndianaG.4,5,6
     His mother died on 8 May 1893, when Raymond was 3 years old.16 He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Black Twp., Posey Co., Indiana, G in the household of his father, Henry B. Jones, and stepmother, Charlotte M. Baker.17 He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Black Twp., Posey Co., Indiana, G in the household of his father and stepmother.18
     Raymond registered for the draft for World War I on 5 Jun 1917, while living at 908 West 4, Mt. Vernon, IndianaG, reporting he was self-employed as a timber cutter. He claimed exemption from the draft because he was the sole support of father, who was not able perform manual labor.19
     Raymond enlisted in the U.S. Army on 6 Oct 1917. He served in the 681 motor transportation company in World War I. He was discharged 4 Aug 1919 with the rank of sergent.20,21
     He moved by 1920 to EvansvilleG with his father and stepmother. He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., Indiana, G in the household of his father and stepmother.22
     Raymond moved to California by 1923.23
     Raymond married first Daisy Barnett, daughter of John Henry Barnett and Malindia Ficklin, on 10 Aug 1925 in Santa Ana, CaliforniaG, with Kenneth E. Morrison, justice of the peace, officiating.7 Raymond and Daisy both said on the application for their marriage license that this was their first marriage. She seems to have ignored the fact that she had married Robert H. Trisler in Spencer Co., Indiana, in 1908 and Evertt Jones in Warrick Co., Indiana, in 1912.24,25 It appears they had been holding themselves as married before their marriage, as he appears in the 1923 Long Beach city directory with wife Daisy, living at 841 W 4th G.23
     They seem to have been separated by 1926. He is listed as living at 233 E 10th G. A Mrs. Daisy Jones is listed as living at 415 Elm Ave., rear. G She has not been found in the area after that, and may have soon returned to Indiana, where she subsequently married again.26
     Raymond and Daisy were divorced before 1930.8,9
     Raymond appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Long Beach, Los Angeles Co., California, at 845 East 6th St. G, enumerated 12 Apr 1930, reporting he was renting his home, for $30 per month. He appears to have been living in a building of over 20 apartments.27
     Raymond married second Esther Leona Glabe, daughter of Levi Glabe and Mary M. Schuck, on 28 Aug 1933 in Long Beach, Los Angeles Co., CaliforniaG, with Rev. F. W. Paap officating.10,11 Raymond reported that this was his third marriage in the application for marriage license, but no evidence of another second marriage has been found.
     Raymond and Esther appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Long Beach, Los Angeles Co., California, at 1901 18th St. G, enumerated 15 Apr 1940, reporting they owned a home valued at $2,500. They reported they had lived in the same house in 1935. Three lodgers were listed as living with them, Opal Jacobs and apparently her 12-year-old daughter Donna, and William Heynechuk. There were also two individuals listed as renting apartments in their building, paying rent of $16 and $13 per month respectively.28
     Raymond registered for the draft for World War II on 26 Apr 1942, while living at 1901 Orange Ave., Long Beach, Los Angeles Co., CaliforniaG, reporting he was employed by Neilsen Pump Co., in Long Beach.19
     He was a machinist in Indiana. He worked as a mechanic for Pacific Electric Railway after he moved to California. He became an automobile mechanic by 1930.29,30,31,32,33 He returned to his trade as a machinist by 1940, when he worked for Pacific Electric. That year he reported having worked 40 hours the last week of March, and 48 weeks the prior year, earning $1,300.34
     Raymond and Esther appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Long Beach, Los Angeles Co., California, at 1901 Orange G, enumerated 6 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm. Four lodgers, George H. Marcotti, Jack Gay, Flora M. Margan, and Harry Moore, were listed as living with them.35
     Raymond died on 7 Oct 1958 in Los Angeles Co., CaliforniaG, at age 68.12,13,6 He was buried in Sunnyside Cemetery, Long Beach, CaliforniaG.14,15
