     She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Morton Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, G in the household of her parents, Adam Oetzel and Caroline Glabe.11
     Katie married George W. Schuck, son of John Schuck and Catherine Geltmacher, on 18 May 1898 in Washington, Tazewell Co., IllinoisG, with Rev. Philip Beurcher officiating.7,8,9
     Katie and George appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Peoria, Peoria Co., Illinois, at 411 Spencer G, enumerated 5 Jun 1900, reporting that they rented their home. Their son Walter was listed as living with them, as was George's younger brother William.12 She was also listed on the 1900 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois G, in the household of her parents, even though she was apparently living with her husband and child in Peoria.13
     Katie and George appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Peoria, Peoria Co., Illinois, at 822 First Ave. G, enumerated 16 Apr 1910, reporting that they owned their home, mortgage free. Their children Walter, Ada, Lucile, and LaVerna were listed as living with them.14
     Katie and George moved to UrbanaG between 1910 and 1912 with their three young children. They appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Urbana, Champaign Co., Illinois, at 306 S. Vine G, enumerated 6 Jan 1920, reporting that they rented their home. Their children Walter, Ada, Lucile, LaVerna, Evelyn, and Virginia were listed as living with them.15
     Katie and George appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Urbana, Champaign Co., Illinois, at 306 S. Vine G, enumerated 3 Apr 1930, reporting that they owned a home valued at $4,000, and owned a radio. Their children Lucile, Evelyn, and Virginia were listed as living with them. Their daughter Ada and her husband and young son were living around the corner, on Green St.16
     Katie and George appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Urbana, Champaign Co., Illinois, at 306 S. Vine G, enumerated 3 Apr 1940, reporting that they owned a home valued at $4,500. Their daughter Virginia was listed as living with them, as was her husband. They and their daughter reported they had lived in the same house in 1935, and their son-in-law reported he had lived in the same city.17
     Katie and George appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Urbana, Champaign Co., Illinois, at 306 S.Vine G, enumerated 3 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm. Mary Quinlan, a 40-year-old bookkeeper, was listed as a lodger.18

     He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, G in the household of his parents, John Schuck and Catherine Geltmacher.12
     George married Katie Elizabeth Oetzel, daughter of Adam Oetzel and Caroline Glabe, on 18 May 1898 in Washington, Tazewell Co., IllinoisG, with Rev. Philip Beurcher officiating.7,8,9

     George and Katie moved to UrbanaG between 1910 and 1912 with their three young children.
     He was a carpenter when he married. It is not clear what type of carpentry he was doing, but clearly he soon moved to railroad work if he was not doing that already. He reported he was a car repairman in 1910, and a foreman in the car department of a steam shop in 1920.15,16,17,18
     George registered for the draft for World War I on 12 Sep 1918, while living at 306 S. Vine, Urbana, IllinoisG, reporting he was employed as a general car foreman with the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railway Company, also known as the "Big Four."2
     He was seems to have left railroad work for a time. In 1927 he was an assembler at Leavitt Manufacturing. But my 1930 he was back with the Big Four as a car repairman. He was a car inspector for them by 1935.19,20,21
     George and Katie appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Urbana, Champaign Co., Illinois, at 306 S. Vine G, enumerated 6 Jan 1920, reporting that they rented their home. Their children Walter, Ada, Lucile, LaVerna, Evelyn, and Virginia were listed as living with them.22
     George and Katie appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Urbana, Champaign Co., Illinois, at 306 S. Vine G, enumerated 3 Apr 1930, reporting that they owned a home valued at $4,000, and owned a radio. Their children Lucile, Evelyn, and Virginia were listed as living with them. Their daughter Ada and her husband and young son were living around the corner, on Green St.23
     George and Katie appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Urbana, Champaign Co., Illinois, at 306 S. Vine G, enumerated 3 Apr 1940, reporting that they owned a home valued at $4,500. Their daughter Virginia was listed as living with them, as was her husband. They and their daughter reported they had lived in the same house in 1935, and their son-in-law reported he had lived in the same city.24

     Margaret married George Henry Stumpf, son of Henry G. Stumpf and Victoria Geltmaker, about 1907.7,8,9,10
     Margaret and George appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois G, enumerated 21 Apr 1910, reporting they were renting their farm. Her mother and siblings were apparently living close by, as they are listed immediately preceding.13
     Margaret and George appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois G, enumerated 5 Jan 1920, reporting that they owned their home, free of mortage. Their daughter Verla was listed as living with them, as was his father, Henry G. Stumpf.14
     Margaret and George appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois G, on Jefferson St., enumerated 3 Apr 1930, reporting that they owned a home valued at $3,000, and owned a radio. Their daughter Verla was listed as living with them, as was her sister, Clara M. Oetzel.15
     Her husband died on 11 Mar 1938 in Washington, Tazewell Co., IllinoisG.16
     Margaret appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois G, enumerated 15 Apr 1940, reporting that she owned a home valued at $3,500, and had lived in the same town in 1935.17
     Margaret died on 18 Jun 1943 in Washington, Tazewell Co., IllinoisG, at age 62.11 She was buried on 21 Jun 1943 in Glendale Cemetery, Washington, Tazewell Co., IllinoisG.11

George and Margaret's daughter may have been adopted. She was apparently their only child, and wasn't born until 11 years after George and Margaret were married. The 1920, 1940 adn 1950 censuses show her birth in Missouri while the 1930 census shows her birth in Kansas but all evidence suggests George and Margaret never lived outside of Washington. Lee Pound, while visiting family members in the area in the 1967, was told George and Margaret had no children even though Verla and her husband were living in Washington. Her obituary makes no mention of her parents.18,19,20,21,22

     He was a farmer in 1910, but by 1920 was working as a laborer in a mill and elevator. By 1930 he was a salesman for a grain elevator, but was apparently a laborer again later in life.15,16,17,18
     George died on 11 Mar 1938 in Washington, Tazewell Co., IllinoisG, at age 57.10 He was buried on 14 Mar 1938 in Glendale Cemetery, Washington, Tazewell Co., IllinoisG.10

Louis Oetzel was born on 17 Oct 1882 in Farmdale, Tazewell Co., IllinoisG.4,5,6 He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, G in the household of his parents, Adam Oetzel and Caroline Glabe.2
     Louis married first Pamela Cumming, daughter of John P. Cumming and Ann Clayton, on 23 Dec 1908 in East Peoria, IllinoisG.4,7,8
     Louis appeared with Pamela on the 1910 Federal Census of Fon du Lac Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois G, in the household of John P. Cumming and Ann Clayton, her parents.17
     He was a farm laborer in 1910. It appears he started a career at the East PeoriaG factory of what was to become Caterpillar Tractor Co. soon afterwards in East PeoriaG.18 He registered for the draft for World War I on 12 Sep 1918, while living at Washington, Tazewell Co., IllinoisG, reporting he was employed as a foreman by Holt Manufacturing Company (a predecessor to the Caterpillar Tractor Co.) in East Peoria.19
     Louis and Pamela appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Groveland Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, on Farmdale Rd. G, enumerated 6 Jan 1920, reporting they rented their home. Their children Eileen and Ann were listed as living with them.1
     Louis and Pamela moved to 119 Putnam, East PeoriaG, by 1922.20 They appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of East Peoria, Tazewell Co., Illinois G, enumerated 5 Apr 1930, reporting that they owned a home valued at $6,000 and owned a radio. Their children Eileen and Ann were listed as living with them, as were her parents and her cousin Charles W. Hicks, age 57, unemployed.21
     Louis and Pamela were divorced about 1935.9,10
     Louis married second Alice Ethel Foose, daughter of Leman A. Foose and Sarah J. Moul, before 1939.11,12,13
     Louis and Alice appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Peoria, Peoria Co., Illinois, at 1517 Monroe St. G, enumerated 17 Apr 1940, reporting that they owned a home valued at $4,500, and that each of them had lived in the same city in 1935.22
     By 1920 he was a foreman in a factory, and a check clerk there by 1930.23,24 In 1940 he reported that he was a checker for a tractor company, and had worked 40 hours the last week in March, and for 52 weeks the prior year, earning $1,871.22 He registered for the draft for World War II on 27 Apr 1942, while living at 1517 N. Monroe St., Peoria, Peoria Co., IllinoisG, reporting he was employed by the Caterpillar Tractor Company in East Peoria.25
     Louis died in Mar 1949 in Peoria, IllinoisG, at age 66.14,15 He was buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Farmington, Fulton Co., IllinoisG.16
