Henry G. Stumpf was born on 13 Oct 1855 in South Lee, MassachusettsG.4,5,6
     Henry married Victoria Geltmaker, who according to online trees was the widow of his older brother, on 29 Mar 1880 in Peoria Co., IllinoisG.7,8,9
     Henry and Victoria appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois G, enumerated 14 Jun 1880. Her children by her prior marriage, Mary, Theresa, Catherine, Elizabeth, and Emma, were listed as living with them.1
     Henry and Victoria appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Washington Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois G, enumerated 21 Jun 1900, reporting that they owned their farm, free of mortgage. Their children George and Margaret and her daughter Catherine by her previous marriage were listed as living with them.2
     His wife died on 28 Nov 1901 in Tazewell Co., IllinoisG.10
     Henry appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois G, in the household of his sonGeorge and and his wife, Margaret Anne Oetzel.11
