     Gladys Caroline Voigt was born on 5 May 1907 in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois.6,7,8
     She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents, Louis J. Voigt and Louise Baumer.4 She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents.15
     Gladys married Thomas Garrett Cobb, son of William Francis Cobb and Ruth U. Garrett, on 12 May 1928.9,10,11
     Gladys and Thomas settled in Michigan after their marriage. They appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Highland Park, Wayne Co., Michigan, at 222 Highland Ave., enumerated 26 Apr 1930, in an apartment house with 147 households. The reported they rented their apartment for $60 per month, and owned a radio.16
     She was a stenographer for a bond house in 1930.17
     Gladys and Thomas moved to Illinois by 1932, when their first child was born.
     Gladys and Thomas appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Wheaton, DuPage Co., Illinois, at 804 Illinois, enumerated 9 Apr 1940, reporting they owned a home valued at $6,000, and that they had lived in the same house in 1935. Their two children were listed as living with them.18
     Her husband died on 27 Jul 1977.19,20
     Gladys died about 10 Apr 1982.12,13 She was buried on 13 Apr 1982 in Wheaton Cemetery, Wheaton, DuPage Co., Illinois.14
