     Thomas Garrett Cobb was born on 4 Mar 1905 in Leavenworth, Kansas.9,10,11
     He appeared on the 1905 State Census of Leavenworth, Leavenworth Co., Kansas, in the household of his parents, William Francis Cobb and Ruth U. Garrett.18 He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Leavenworth, Leavenworth Co., Kansas, in the household of his parents.5 He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Leavenworth, Leavenworth Co., Kansas, in the household of his parents.6
     Thomas Garrett Cobb appeared on the 1925 State Census of 801 W. 12th, Emporia, Lyon Co., Kansas, rooming with five other male students in the home of F. L. Gilson and his family.19 He also appeared on the 1925 State Census of Leavenworth, Kansas, in the household of household of his parents.
     Thomas married Gladys Caroline Voigt, daughter of Louis J. Voigt and Louise Baumer, on 12 May 1928.4,12,13
     Thomas and Gladys settled in Michigan after their marriage. They appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Highland Park, Wayne Co., Michigan, at 222 Highland Ave., enumerated 26 Apr 1930, in an apartment house with 147 households. The reported they rented their apartment for $60 per month, and owned a radio.20
     He was a salesman for a bond house in Michigan.21
     Thomas and Gladys moved to Illinois by 1932, when their first child was born.
     Thomas and Gladys appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Wheaton, DuPage Co., Illinois, at 804 Illinois, enumerated 9 Apr 1940, reporting they owned a home valued at $6,000, and that they had lived in the same house in 1935. Their two children were listed as living with them.22
     He was a bank teller by 1940, reporting he had worked 44 hours the last week of March, and 52 weeks the prior year, earning $2,500.23
     Thomas registered for the draft for World War II on 16 Oct 1940, while living at 804 E. Illinois St., Wheaton, Dupage Co., Illinois, reporting he was employed by Harris Trust and Savings Bank in Chicago.1
     Thomas died on 27 Jul 1977 at age 72.14,15 He was buried on 30 Jul 1977 in Wheaton Cemetery, Wheaton, DuPage Co., Illinois.16,17
