Margaret Hazel Morris was born on 12 May 1913 in Springfield Twp., Richland Co., Ohio.7,8
     She appeared on the 1915 State Census of Shenandoah, Page Co., Iowa, apparently in the household of her parents.12,13,14,15,16
     She moved to Missouri with her parents before 1920. She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of St. Joseph, Buchanan Co., Missouri, in the household of her parents.5
     She moved to Montana with her parents about 1922.
     Her mother died on 9 May 1923, when Margaret was 9 years old.17,18 Margaret moved to California with her father after the death of her mother.
     Margaret appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California, at 1146 Hipoint, enumerated 9 Apr 1930, in the household of Joe F. Taylor and his wife and family, listed as a maid.19
     Margaret appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California, at 1470 Westerly Terrace, enumerated 12 Apr 1940, listed as a nurse in the household of J. Buckley Russell, a motion picture actor, and his family.20 Russell stared in the films The Jack Rider (1921) and Light Wines and Bearded Ladies (1926) and also had parts in The Freshie (1922), The Phantom Fortune (1923), and High Speed (1924). He seems to have faded from the scene after that.21
     Margaret married Gerald Crombie McWilliams, son of William Franklin McWilliams and Ida Allie Crombie, on 17 Jan 1942 in Las Vegas, Clark Co., Nevada, with Rev. Ford L. Gilbert, Methodist minister officiating.2,9,10
     She was psychiatric technician for some 20 years, working at Pacific State Hospital, a facility for people with developmental disabilities. It was later known as the Lanterman Developmental Center. She report in the 1950 census she had not worked the prior week and was not looking for work, but had earned $2,280 the prior year.22,23
     Margaret and Gerald adopted the children of her nephew William Henry Morris and his first wife, on 25 Jun 1949 in Wayne Co., Ohio, with the final decree issued 25 Jan 1950.24
     Margaret and Gerald appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Pomona, Los Angeles Co., California, at 365 E Ninth, enumerated 19 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm and they lived in a different house but the same county the year before. Their three adopted children were listed as living with them, as well as two roomers, Alyne L Johnston, age 29, and Hope L Bancroft, age 13.22
     Her husband died on 5 Feb 1959 in Pomona, Los Angeles Co., California.25
     Margaret died on 27 Dec 1993 in Fontana, Riverside Co., California, at age 80.11 She was buried on 30 Dec 1993 in Pomona Valley Memorial Park, Pomona, California.11
