     She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Milton, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her parents, John Henry Simons and Mary Catharine Riegel.4 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Milton, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her parents.5
     She was a winder in a hosiery mill before her first marriage.20
     Sarah married first Charles Henry Tyson, son of Mathias J. Tyson and Sabina Barnhart, on 15 Feb 1913 in Methodist Episcopal parsonage, Northumberland, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, with Rev. Isaac Cadman officiating.12,13
     Sarah and Charles appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Watsontown, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, at Ash St., enumerated 7 Jan 1920, reporting they were renting their home. Their daughter Lera was listed as living with them, as was his brother, Oliver.21
     Sarah and Charles appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Watsontown, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, at 142 Main St., enumerated 9 Apr 1930, reporting they rented their home, for $20 per month. Their daughter Lera was listed as living with them, as was her father, John Henry Simons.22
     Sarah and Charles appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Watsontown, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, at 17 E. 2nd St., enumerated Apr 1940, reporting they were renting their home, for $20 per month, and had lived in the same home in 1935.23 He died 21 Apr 1943 in Williamsport, Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania, from a railroad accident at work.24
     Sarah appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Lewisburg, Union Co., Pennsylvania, at 211 S Fourth., enumerated 10 May 1950, as one of six lodgers, all widows, in the household of Clementine Miller.25
     Sarah married second William Daniel Reitz, son of John Lewis Reitz and Elizabeth Nora Schwalm, on 17 Jul 1963 in Centennial Memorial Evangelical United Brethren Church, Frederick, Maryland, with Rev. Harry L. Fehl, Jr. officating. He had previously been married to an unknown woman.14,15,16
     Sarah left a will dated 17 Mar 1979 stating she was of Buffalo Twp., Union Co., Pennsylvania, in which she appointed her grandson, C. Edward Bucher, as her executor. Her only child having died several years before, she left the bulk of her estate to the sons of her late daughter, Edward and his two brothers. She left two great-granddaughters $500 each from her savings account, with the balance to be divided between the three grandsons. The income from her mutual fund was to go to her husband until his death, then divided between the three. She specified various pieces of jewelry to the great-granddaughters, a niece, and Edward. She directed her husband would have the use of her furniture for his life, then was to be divided between the grandsons, with some specific pieces to go to each of them. She specified who was to receive her silver, china, and glassware, which included Edward, the great-granddaughters, and eight women whose relationship has not been identified. Anything else was to be divided between the grandsons.26
     Sarah died on 2 Feb 1982 in Kelly Twp., Union Co., Pennsylvania, at age 87.17,18 She was buried in Watsontown, Pennsylvania.19
     Her executor filed a petition for probate and letters testamentary on 5 Apr 1982. In it he estimated the value of her personal property at $5,000, and stated that there was no real property.27 Her will was proved on 13 Apr 1982 and letters testamentary were issued.28
