     Nils G. Tenold was born in Jan 1867 in Norway.4,5,6 He immigrated about 1886 and was naturalized about 1899.11,12,13
     Nils married Marie O. Kuntson about 1888.7,8,9
     Nils and Marie appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Adams Twp., Mower Co., Minnesota, enumerated 16 Jun 1900, reporting that the family owned it's farm, free from mortgage. Their children George, Sam, Ida and Alma were listed as living with them.1
     Nils and Marie moved their family to Washington before 1910. They appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of La Center, Clark Co., Washington, enumerated 7 May 1910, reporting that the family owned it's farm, which was mortgaged. Their children Sam, Ida and Alma were listed as living with them, as was Robert Wright, as 21-year-old boader, descibed as a laborer doing odd jobs.14
     Nils and Marie appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Evergreen, Clark Co., Washington, enumerated 28 Jan 1920, reporting that they owned their farm, which was mortgaged.15 They appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of La Center, Clark Co., Washington, enumerated 26 Apr 1930, reporting that the family owned it's farm and had a radio.16
     He was a farmer, on a general farm.17,18,19,20
     Nils died on 2 Sep 1932 in La Center, Clark Co., Washington, at age 65.10
