     Mary Elizabeth Gann was born on 8 Apr 1849 in Oval, Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania.8,9,10 Mary Elizabeth and Sarah Jane were twins.5
     Mary appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her parents, John Gann Jr. and Rachel Kauffman.15 She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Oval, Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her parents.16
     Her father died on 10 Jun 1869, when Mary was 20 years old.17,18 She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Collomsville, Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her mother.19
     Mary married George Washington Pearson Jr., son of Dr. George W. Pearson and Anna Maria Coleman, and older brother of the husband of her twin sister Sarah, about 1872.11,12,13
     Mary and George appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 11 Jun 1880. Their children George and William were listed as living with them, as was George Rader, age 19, a servant.20
     Mary and George appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 7 Jun 1900, reporting that they owned their farm, free of mortgage. Their children George, John and Mary were listed as living with them.21
     Mary and George appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania, at Oval Hill Rd., enumerated 28 Apr 1910, reporting that they owned their farm, free of mortgage. Their children John and Mary were listed as living with them.22
     Mary died on 2 Nov 1914 in Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania, at age 65.6,14 She was buried on 5 Nov 1914 in Oval Cemetery.6
