     Sarah Jane Gann was born on 8 Apr 1849 in Oval, Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania.8,9,10 Sarah Jane and Mary Elizabeth were twins.6
     Sarah appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her parents, John Gann Jr. and Rachel Kauffman.16 She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Oval, Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her parents.17
     Her father died on 10 Jun 1869, when Sarah was 20 years old.18,19 She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Collomsville, Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her mother.20
     Sarah married William Jefferson Pearson, son of Dr. George W. Pearson and Anna Maria Coleman, and younger brother of the husband of her twin sister Mary, about 1872.11,12,13
     Sarah and William appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 12 Jun 1880. Their son George was listed as living with them.21
     Sarah and William appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 8 Jun 1900, His mother, Anna Maria Coleman, was listed as living with them.22
     Sarah died on 23 Mar 1904 at age 54.8,14 She was buried in Oval Cemetery, Oval, Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania.15
