     Anne C. McCabe was born on 7 Apr 1926 in Winchester, Illinois.8,9,10
     She appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Bloomfield, Scott Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents, James V. McCabe and Sophia Brown.4 She appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of North Winchester, Scott Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents.5
     She appears to be the Ann McCabe listed on the 1950 Federal Census of Springfield, Sangamon Co., Illinois, at 829 So 2nd, enumerated 17 Apr 1950, with two other women her age. She was a key punch operator and the other two stenographers, all at a State of Illinois. She reported she lived in a different house but the same county the prior year, that she had worked 40 hours the prior week and 52 weeks in 1949, earning $2,264 in wages or salary.16
     Anne married Edwin Frederick Prenger, son of Joseph Frank Prenger and Jessie Myrtle Watson, on 22 Dec 1952 in Taylorville, Illinois. He had previously been married to Marguerite Laura Huggitt, Vivian B. Wagner and Virginia Mae Wolfe.11,12,13
     Anne died on 3 Dec 2010 at age 84.14,9 She was buried in Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Adams Co., Illinois.15
