     2324 Marguerite Laura Huggitt was born on 22 Jun 1916 in New Orleans, Louisiana.9,10,11
     She moved to California with her parents before 1920. She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., California, in the household of her parents, William Hilton Huggitt and Margaret Bettison Thurston.25
     She returned to Louisiana with her parents before 1930. She appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana, in the household of her parents.5
     Marguerite married first Edwin Frederick Prenger, son of Joseph Frank Prenger and Jessie Myrtle Watson, on 7 Dec 1936 in New Orleans, Louisiana.12,13,14
     Marguerite and Edwin returned to his home, Peoria, Illinois, before 1940.26 They appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Peoria, Peoria Co., Illinois, in the household of Min and Edwin Lehmann, his aunt and uncle.24
     Marguerite and Edwin apparently were divorced before 1942, as he re-married in February of that year. No record of the divorce has been found.15
     Marguerite married second Arthur Vance Childers, son of James William Childers and Cora Fait, by 1948. He had previously been married to Ruth Foster and Adelaide D. Leach.16,17,18
     Marguerite and Arthur settled in California after their marriage. They appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of National City, San Diego Co., California, at 2717 Ridgeway, enumerated 11 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm. Her mother was listed as living with them, as were his sons by his prior marriage, William and Charles, aged 12 and 6 respectively, and his granddaughter, Judith A. Riley, age 5.27
     Marguerite and Arthur returned his home state, Arizona, by 1958, when they were living at 1909 Jason Vista, Tucson.28
     Marguerite filed for divorce from Arthur in Apr 1962 in Maricopa Co., Arizona. No record of a final grant has been found but it appears the divorce was subsequntly granted.19
     Marguerite died in Jun 1982.20,21 She was buried in Pima County Cemetery, Tucson, Pima Co., Arizona.22
