     Cecil Reigel was born on 2 Oct 1905 in La Center, Clark Co., Washington.5,6,7
     His mother died about 1908, when Cecil was about 3 years old.15,16,17 He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of La Center, Clark Co., Washington, in the household of his grandparents, Benjamin Franklin Riegel and Esther Matilda Gann, who lived next to his father's place. His father was apparently away for an extended period working at a logging camp.18
     He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of La Center, Washington in the household of his father, Frank William Reigel, and stepmother, Vera Mattie Baird.4
     Cecil appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Monticello, Cowlitz Co., Washington, at Fire Station No. 3, enumerated 14 Apr 1930, as one of four fireman residing there.19,20
     Cecil married Naomi Constance Wynne, daughter of Harry Fielding Wynne and Jennie Alice Veatch, on 11 Apr 1931 at the home of her mother and late father, 609 2nd St., Cottage Grove, Lane Co., Oregon, with Rev. Paul Iverson of the Seventh Day Adventist church officiating.8,9,10
     After their marriage Cecil and Naomi lived with her mother at 609 Second St., Cottage Grove, Oregon.21
     He later worked as a mill worker for John H. Chambers & Son, a lumber company.22 He applied for a Social Security Number 30 Nov 1936, while living at 609 2nd St., Cottage Grove, Oregon, where he was employed by J. H. Chambers & Son.3
     Cecil and Naomi appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Cottage Grove, Lane Co., Oregon, in the household of her mother.23
     He registered for the draft for World War II on 16 Oct 1940, while living at 609 2nd St., Cottage Grove, Lane Co., Oregon, reporting he was employed by J. H. Chambers & Son in Cottage Grove.24
     Cecil and Naomi moved to N 5323 Cannon, Spokane, Washington, about 1944, where he lived the rest of his life, and she lived for many years after his death.25,26 By 1940 he had become monorail crane operator at a sawmill. That year he reported that he had worked 40 hours the last week of March, and had worked 43 weeks the prior year, earning $720.27
     After moving to Spokane Cecil worked for Spokane Air Technical Service Command as an inspector for a time. By 1947 he was working as a salesman for Bill Hatch Sporting Goods Co. By 1949 he was a buyer for Sporting Goods & Cycle Distributors, reporting in the 1950 census he had worked 40 hours the prior week.28,29
     Cecil and Naomi appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Spokane, Spokane Co., Washington, at 5323 N Cannon, enumerated 4 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm.30
     By 1952 he was a salesman for a wholesale firm, Fisheries Supply Co. By 1954 he had become a clerk at Marshall-Wells Co., a company dealing in wholesale hardware, plumbing and electrical supplies, auto accessories, and sporting goods. He was a stock taker there by 1956. By 1958 he was a stock man at Jensen-Byrd Co., a firm in the same line of business. By 1958 he had returned to the retail trade, as a salesman at Spokane Cycle & Toy Co., a dealer in sporting goods, bicycles and toys.31 He later worked for Payless Drug stores as a sporting goods salesman.32,33
     Cecil died on 5 May 1971 in Spokane, Spokane Co., Washington, at age 65.11,12 He was buried on 8 May 1971 in Spokane Memorial Gardens, Spokane, Washington.13,14
