     Warren Eugene Willis was born on 16 May 1881 in Tate Twp., Clermont Co., Ohio, according to the county birth registration, but as an adult he consistently stated his birth date as 26 Sep 1881.5,6,7
     Warren has not been found in the 1900 census. He was not listed with his parents when they were enumerated in Tate Twp., Clermont Co., Ohio, nor has he been found elsewhere. When he was married four years later he stated he was living in Cincinnati.14
     He was a butcher when he married.15
     Warren married Anna Elizabeth Brose, daughter of Frederick S. Brose and Debra Jane Gardner, on 2 Nov 1904 in Hamilton Co., Ohio, with Rev. John A. White officiating.8,9
     Warren and Anna appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Anderson Twp., Hamilton Co., Ohio, on Five Mile Rd., enumerated 29 Apr 1910, reporting they rented their home. Their children Marguerite and Howard were listed as living with them.16
     He was a machinist at a buggy factory by 1910.17 He registered for the draft for World War I on 12 Sep 1918, while living at 236 Worth St., Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, reporting he was employed as a carriage worker for T. P. Walker of the Queen City Forging Company.3 He was a laborer at a foundry by 1920.18
     Warren and Anna appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 204 Worth St., enumerated 3 Jan 1920, reporting they rented their home. Their children Marguerite, Howard and Harry were listed as living with them.19
     He was a pattern maker at Cincinnati Milling Company by 1930, and an assistant foreman there by 1940, when he reported he had worked 50 hours the last week of March, and 52 weeks the prior year, earning $1,500.20,21
     Warren and Anna appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Norwood, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 4555 Montgomery Ave., enumerated 18 Apr 1930, reporting they rented their home, for $25 per month, and owned a radio. Their children Marguerite and Howard were listed as living with them.22
     Warren and Anna appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 1932 Pleasant St., enumerated 24 Apr 1940, reporting they rented their home, for $15 per month, and that they had lived in the same city in 1935. Their son Howard was listed as living with them.23
     Warren registered for the draft for World War II on 25 Apr 1942, while living at 3841 Eastern Ave., Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, reporting he was employed by Cincinnati Milling Machine Company.24 He was a foreman at a foundry in 1950.25
     His wife died on 4 Sep 1946 in 261 Worth St., Cincinnati, Ohio.26
     Warren appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of his son Howard and his wife, Elizabeth Catherine Hallof.27
     Warren died on 18 Oct 1971 in Little Rock, Arkansas, at age 90.10,11 He was buried on 22 Oct 1971 in Tate Township Cemetery, Bethel, Clermont Co., Ohio.12,13
