     She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Dodson Twp., Highland Co., Ohio, in the household of her parents, William Joseph H. Brose and Edna Caroline Shaffer.4
     Matilda married Lee Terrell, son of George Henry Layman and Julia Anna Shaper, on 1 Apr 1905 in Highland Co., Ohio, with Rev. P. J. Schriver officiating.10,11
     Matilda and Lee appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Dodson Twp., Highland Co., Ohio, in the household of William W. Terrell and Julia Anna Shaper, his mother and adoptive father. Their son Charles was listed in the household with them.16
     Matilda and Lee moved to Dayton before 1920. They appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio, at 117 Galloway St., enumerated 7 Jan 1920, reporting they rented their home. Their son Charles was listed as living with them.17
