     Katherine Isabel Evans was born on 20 Apr 1859 in Bellview, Missouri.7,8,9 She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Iron Twp., Iron Co., Missouri, in the household of her parents, James S. Evans and Eliza B. Long.14
     Her mother died on 6 May 1865, when Katherine was 6 years old.15
     She moved by 1870 to Washington Co. with her family. She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Concord Twp., Washington Co., Missouri, in the household of her father and stepmother Jennie [surname unknown].16
     She returned with her family to Iron Co. by 1880. She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Iron Twp., Iron Co., Missouri, in the household of her father, James S. Evans.17
     Katherine married Isaac Rose Cook, son of William Cook and Sophia Maria Cobb, on 27 Apr 1898 in Farmington, St. Francois Co., Missouri, with Rev. S. W. Emory offciating.10,11
     Katherine and Isaac appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Columbus, Hickman Co., Kentucky, enumerated 9 Jun 1900, reporting they owned their farm, free of mortgage. His children by his prior marriage, Nellie and Elinor, were listed as living with them.18
     Katherine and Isaac appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Columbus, Hickman Co., Kentucky, on Bock St., enumerated 22 Apr 1910, reporting they owned their home, free of mortgage. His daughter Elinor was listed as living with them.19
     Her husband died on 15 Aug 1910 in Columbus, Kentucky.20,21,22
     Katherine died on 10 Sep 1917 in Farmington, St. Francois Co., Missouri, at age 58.12 She was buried in Columbus, Kentucky.13
