     He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Huntington, Huntington Co., Indiana, in the household of his parents, Jacob C. Scheerer and Juliana Biehl.13 He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Huntington, Huntington Co., Indiana, in the household of his parents.5
     Edward married Hannah L. Kuhlman, daughter of William Kuhlman and Maria Heinricke Dorothe Gleich, on 23 Jun 1889 in Huntington Co., Indiana, with Charles M. Schaaf officiating.10,11
     Edward and Hannah appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Huntington, Huntington Co., Indiana, at 95 Williams St., enumerated 2 Jun 1900, reporting they owned their home.
